Ching-Fang (Yvonne) Wu joined Innovatus in October 2023.

Yvonne was an intern lawyer at Jones Day Taipei, participating in several civil and commercial disputes.

Throughout academics, Yvonne primarily focused on intellectual property law and climate law as a research assistant for National Science & Technology Council (NSTC) and Environmental Protection Agency ( EPA) research projects. She participated in the NSTC’ s Research Project Grant for University Students, discussing the liability reform of internet service providers arising from the EU Copyright Directive in the Digital Single Market. Additionally, her master’ s thesis Protection of Geographical Indications in CJEU and U.S. Courts as Implications for Taiwan, discussed the EU-US debates on Geographical Indications (GI) from normative and practical perspectives, analyzing the potential approaches to improve the GI systems and the strategies of international participation for Taiwan.

For Climate law, Yvonne focused on the Paris Agreement, Carbon Market, and Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), analyzing the conflicts and harmonization between climate change policies and international trade rules. Yvonne was an NGO Observer of the 26th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP26) in Glasgow, United Kingdom, in 2021. During the COP period, she participated in several side events, assisted in organizing the “Euro-Asia Forum on Climate Change & Environment Sustainability” (a full-English seminar), and also served as the MC of the Forum.
